Transitional arrangements to support governing, coordinating and funding for collective impact

Steering group

The Steering group helps govern for collective impact. It is comprised of six leaders, with one from each of five regions and one from the multilateral system, and with a balance in gender and career stage and across forms of evidence and interest-holder categories.

 Steering group members include:

  1. Andrea Ordóñez is based in Latin America and the Caribbean and brings rich experience with primary research and equity
  2. Arash Rashidian is based in the Middle East and brings ground-breaking expertise in forms of evidence such as qualitative insights, evidence synthesis (for both effectiveness and qualitative questions), guidance, and technology assessment, as well as in evidence-informed policymaking processes
  3. David Halpern is based in Europe and has done pioneering work in behavioural and implementation research and in supporting evidence-informed policymaking in government
  4. Jimmy Volmink hails from Africa and has long been a leader in evidence synthesis and in equity
  5. Kerry Albright has worked in the multilateral system for many years and has extensive experience with evaluation and demand-side engagement within UN system entities and multilateral development banks
  6. Meera Gurumurthy lives in and works across the Asia Pacific region and has expertise in data analytics.

The Steering group is facilitated by John Lavis, advisor to the Wellcome Trust.
